2.1 Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website automatically acquire certain personal data during normal operation, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This data includes IP addresses or domain names of users' computers, URI addresses of requested resources, request time, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the server response, and other parameters related to the operating system and computing environment.

Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller for site security and proper functioning (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention period: no longer than 7 days, unless required for the investigation of offences.

2.2 Data provided voluntarily by the user

Through the forms on the website (course enquiry, contact request, trip request, membership form), the user may voluntarily provide personal data such as: first and last name, email address, phone number, personal details (for membership), and any other information freely entered in the message field.

Such data is processed exclusively to:

  • Respond to information requests submitted;
  • Manage the membership application process;
  • Contact the user regarding requested services.

Legal basis: user's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, for membership, performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention period: until withdrawal of consent or for the time necessary to provide the requested service. Membership data is retained for the period required by association and tax regulations (10 years).

3. Processing Methods

Personal data is processed using electronic and telematic tools, with logic strictly related to the stated purposes and in any case in a way that guarantees the security and confidentiality of data. Data is not subject to dissemination or transfer to third parties, except as indicated in section 4.

Personal data may be communicated, only to the extent strictly necessary, to the following categories of recipients:

  • Hosting providers that provide IT infrastructure services, as data processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR;
  • Google LLC (based in the USA), for Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager services, subject to user consent. Google adheres to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an adequate level of data protection pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR;
  • Public authorities, in cases provided for by law.

Data is not sold or transferred to third parties for marketing or commercial profiling purposes.

  • Withdrawal of consent (Art. 7): withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given prior to withdrawal.
