Some trips end when you get home. Others stay inside you and change something forever.
Our Kite Safari in Hurghada, from 10 to 17 October, was exactly that. A week aboard a yacht on the Red Sea, between desert islands, turquoise lagoons and steady wind. But above all, a week of people who found each other, and never let go.
Every morning we woke up somewhere new. Dream islands, white sand and water so unreal that more than once we just looked at each other speechless: are we really in Egypt? Ashrafi, Geisum, Abu Minqar: names that now, for us, mean home.
The yacht was our floating base: we sailed, dropped anchor at the spot of the day, chosen on the wind forecast, and the sea did the rest.
Let's be clear, because it's the question we get most: the Kite Safari is perfect even if you've never tried kitesurfing. In fact, it's one of the best ways to start.
The secret is the Red Sea's shallow, flat-water lagoons. You can stand on the bottom, there are no waves to fight and the wind is steady: ideal conditions to get comfortable with the kite, fall without fear and get straight back up. At Abu Minqar the shallow water is so wide it feels made for first water starts.
Complete beginners can book the beginner course with our instructors and, at the end, keep riding with rental gear. There's always a team around you: the rescue boat, the beach crew helping you pump up, launch and land your kite, and a whole tribe cheering for your first run. And when it happens, when the board glides for the first time and you feel like flying, they hear the scream on the next island. 🤙

If you already kite, the safari is a progression booster. Mirror-flat water, steady wind, endless space and no crowds: the perfect playground to try new tricks safely, land the jump you've been putting off for months, nail your transitions or go downwind from island to island.
Two sessions a day, instructors watching and correcting you, video coaching in the evening to review every move, and back on the water the next morning to put it into practice. You go home at a different level, and itching to come back.
Then came that hour. The wind dropping, the sun sinking into the horizon and the sky painting itself in impossible colours. Sitting on deck, drink in hand, tired and happy after a day on the water. Moments we wished we could freeze forever.
And the nights… each more magical than the last. Our DJ took us through crazy evenings of music, dancing and indescribable vibes. The energy was so contagious that even guests from other yachts came aboard to dance with us and get carried away by the magic of the Tribe. 🔥
And yes, speaking of toasts: with us, alcoholic drinks are unlimited and included, while other formats often exclude them or charge extra. Because raising a glass together, without counting every drink, is part of the experience. 🥂
But do you know what the most beautiful thing of all was? Not the sea, not the islands, not the sunsets.
The people. Souls, smiles, hugs, uncontrollable laughter, unexpected connections and beautiful energies meeting each other.
We left as strangers and came home with something much bigger than a memory: a family. Our Tribe. 💙
That's what makes Blue Tribe trips different from any other. It's not just a week on a yacht. It's not just kite, crystal-clear water and fun.
We bring our heart, our passion and all the vibes we've got. You bring your amazing energy. And together something happens that can't be explained… it has to be lived.
